Behind Home Plate - Salute to Service honors AFDW Airmen

The Washington Nationals offer year-round experiences as thanks and quality-of-life outreach for service members and their families in the Washington region. Around the third inning, honorees are recognized on the NatsHD scoreboard and receive a standing ovation from fans. The Colorado Rockies defeated the Nats 8-7. The next Salute to Service event takes place Aug. 13 against the Cincinnati Reds.
