ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE, Md. -- Air Force District of Washington announced its Quarterly Award winners for the third quarter during a luncheon here Oct. 23 at The Club on Andrews.

The winners, who were honored for their performances from July 1 through Sept. 30, 2008, are:

· Airman of the Quarter - Senior Airman Arnez Smith, AFDW Knowledge Operations Center information manager

· NCO of the Quarter - Tech. Sgt. Derrick King, AFDW/A1KP NCOIC of command promotions

· SNCO of the Quarter - Master Sgt. Gary Rucks, AFDW/A7XF, Command Fire Chief

· Company Grade Officer of the Quarter - Capt. Mary Kotora, AFDW/A7S, chief of Antiterrorism and Force Protection

· Civilian of the Quarter (CAT I) - Ms. Samassa Law, AFDW/A6PR, Budget Technician

· Civilian of the Quarter (CAT II) - Ms. Charonda Boone, AFDW/A8AO-B, lead accounting technician

· Civilian of the Quarter (CAT III) - Mr. Jay Blackmon, AFDW/A8TI, Financial Service Desk team lead.
