1st Helicopter Squadron marks historic flight
The Washington Monument is visible from a UH-1N Huey helicopter near Washington, D.C., Sept. 17, 2024. In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, recognized annually from Sept. 15 - Oct. 15, this mission was the 1st Helicopter Squadron’s first recorded all-Hispanic and Latino flight.
