Chief Master Sergeant CHASIDY D. SELLS

Chief Master Sgt. Chasidy D. Sells is the Command First Sergeant for the Air Force District of Washington, headquartered at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. Chief Sells oversees the manning and utilization of all assigned AFDW First Sergeants, is the approval authority for First Sergeant applications, and manages deployment taskings. Additionally, she reviews and validates MAJCOM authorizations, conducts trend analysis, and coordinates on inter-command assignments as well as policy changes. Furthermore, she maintains a mission-ready enlisted force to execute command, National Capital Region, and expeditionary mission requirements. She also serves as the 320th Air Expeditionary Wing First Sergeant when activated. Her reach impacts more than 33,000 military and civilian Airmen worldwide.

Chief Sells entered the Air Force in October of 2000 as an Information Management Specialist. Throughout her career she has held various supervisory and leadership positions serving as an information manager and client system technician at the squadron, group, and wing levels. She had the honor of serving the role of first sergeant for 4 units across 3 different installations, as well as Communications Superintendent. Chief Sells has deployed in support of operations ENDURING FREEDOM, NOBLE EAGLE, IRAQI FREEDOM and ODYSSEY DAWN.
